Adelina Amouteru’s heart has suffered at the hands of both family and friends, turning her down the bitter path of revenge. Now known and feared as the White Wolf, she flees Kenettra with her sister to find other Young Elites in the hopes of building her own army of allies. Her goal: to strike down the Inquisition Axis, the white-cloaked soldiers who nearly killed her.
But Adelina is no heroine. Her powers, fed only by fear and hate, have started to grow beyond her control. She does not trust her newfound Elite friends. Teren Santoro, leader of the Inquisition, wants her dead. And her former friends, Raffaele and the Dagger Society, want to stop her thirst for vengeance. Adelina struggles to cling to the good within her. But how can someone be good when her very existence depends on darkness?
Bestselling author Marie Lu delivers another heart-pounding adventure in this exhilarating sequel to The Young Elites.
My Thoughts: I remember reading the first in this series and loving it, even though it was a bit dark. We are back with Adelina and her band of misfits! Except this time, some of those misfits aren’t her people anymore and have turned against her. Now Adelina must find new friends to help her through. This was one of the best parts for me. I loved seeing the new people she choose to befriend. All with such distinct personalities and I love their powers.
Honestly, I don’t even know what to say about this one and I don’t want to give anything away. I loved it probably more than the first book. I really loved one of the new guys. I’m sure you can guess which one. He was so distinct and I didn’t always know if he liked her or not. I never knew what was really going on in his mind.
I want to write a long review for this one, but I also must say I’m going to keep it short because of spoilers. I don’t want to give you any!!!! You must experience all of this one for yourself!
Overall: All I will say is, I loved the characters, I loved the plot, and I just loved it to pieces!! Please read this series asap!!!
Cover: Love it! It does have a little bit of a dark feeling, which is good!!! It’s a little bit dark!
What I’d Give It:

Just another series I can't wait to get to! I did read her Legend trilogy and I really enjoyed it, even though the characters were super young. I can't wait to get to this series!

OOh nice! I STILL need to read this one! I held off because people said it had a bit of a cliffhanger and I decided last year I would wait until THIS year to finish up all those trilogies I started! And now they're all piling up! LOL! Glad to hear that this one was good! I can't wait to read it and the finale! Nice review!
