Summary: Sixteen-year-old Jackie Howard is devastated when her parents are killed in a car accident. She has no one to turn to except for her mom's best friend Katherine Walter. Jackie quickly discovers that Katherine is no stranger to being a mom-she's got twelve boys! And every single one is a handful...
Adjusting to life with the Walter boys is not going to be easy, especially when two of them start to show an interest that definitely goes beyond brotherly.
My Thoughts: Wow, I really loved this one! I enjoyed it so much!!! Loved it too pieces! Get the point?
We are introduced to Jackie who just lost her family. She moves in with a family friend and things are crazy!!! She ends up moving in with 12 boys, well technically 11 but the girl is a major tomboy! Jackie does well in school, and is a perfectionist. She likes being on a schedule and doing things the right way. Its definitely hard to be thrown into a family where chaos is an everyday thing.
I loved getting to know each of the Walters. Each one was so much fun and I loved everything that happened, from the gushy moments to the outright funny ones!
Jackie related to each boy in her own way. She slowly warmed up to each of them. And of course two of the brothers she really took an interest in. I had a hard time picking because I liked them both.
I just loved the family dynamic of this one and I love all the friends she made along the way. This story was truly fascinating and amazing!
Overall: I loved it! I was actually a little bit hesitant to read it at first and I put off buying it, but I’m so glad I did. One of my favorites of the year for sure. And getting to know each Walter was so much fun and such a riot! Don’t let this one pass you up!!!
Cover: Like it! I love how they are just sitting there. So Cute!
