Summary: Isabelle Scott and Mirabelle Monroe are still reeling from the revelation that they share more than just the roof over their heads. The media has pounced on their story and the girls are caught up in a flurry of talk-show appearances and newspaper interviews. They've put on a happy public face, but someone is leaking their true feelings to the press, and while it seems like the world is watching their every move, at least they have each other.
But with cotillion season right around the corner, Izzie and Mira have barely had time to process their newfound sisterhood. Mira has dreamed of making her debut in a gorgeous white gown forever-now, if only she could find an escort. Izzie, meanwhile, is still struggling to find her place in Emerald Cove and it's seeming ever more impossible with EC mean-girls, young and old, doing their best to keep her down. As cotillion preparations heat up, though, there are dance steps to learn, manners to perfect... and secret initiations to complete? As if sophomore year wasn't hard enough!
It's time for the gowns to go on and the gloves to come off.
My Thoughts: When I started this, I wanted to be in for a ride! I really enjoyed the first in this series so I was hoping this would be just as awesome! I gave Belles five cupcakes if you remember.
White White was almost just as good. I didn't quite love it as much but it was still a fun and cool novel.
We are back with Mira and Izzie and this time they have a new set of adventures, including cotillion. They have to get dates, find the perfect dresses, and be the perfect southern girls we know they can be, at least one of them. HA.
The characters are the best part of this series. I love all the characters. Even the sideish characters are so opinionated, and stand out.
The plot wasn't as drastic as the first novel but just as entertaining. Fun moments, oh my gosh moments, and a little bit of romance dipped in.
I think these books could be considered a favorite for me. They are just so funny and I find myself laughing randomly. Oh, and the boys. Love them! There were a few twists I didn't really see coming, but made sense.
White White was another great one in this series, and I’m happy to say the next one comes out pretty soon!
Overall: Really enjoyed it! I’m glad to be back with the girls and to go in their world! Awesome.
Cover: Like it! It’s pretty.
