Summary: When Kaylee Cavanaugh screams, someone dies.
So when teen pop star Eden croaks onstage and Kaylee doesn't wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can't cry for someone who has no soul.
The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad's ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend's loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls: a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can't possibly understand.
Kaylee can't let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk….
My Thoughts: We are back with Kaylee and her boyfriend Nash,Tod, and her best friend Emma. What a cast of characters, love them!
My Soul To Save is the second book in the Soul Screamers series and it does not disappoint. Heck, I may have even liked this one a bit more than My Soul To Keep.
In the first book we were getting to know Kaylee. In this one, we know her, we know more about her, and what she is. My Soul To Save focuses on Tod's ex-girlfriend and her sister selling their souls in order to gain success. Of course they didn't read the fine print of the agreement so they don't really know all the gory details about what they did.
I really like Nash but I keep waiting on something to happen between Kaylee and Todd. I know nothing probably will but when you add in a third guy, you always expect feelings to develop and a love triangle to develop, HA!
Kaylee also travels to the Netherland and there she meets some interesting characters. She has to go there to bargain with the souls, to try to get the girls out of their contracts.
I still don't want to give too much away with this series. This is one you should definately be devouring on your own.
Tod is still hot. Nash is even more sexier, come on, those makeout sessions, HOT! I love how Tod randomly appears and I love how Kaylee sneaks out to do the right thing.
My Soul To Save was just as good as the first one and I can't wait to read the third one!
Overall: Loved this one too! Hope the series keeps getting better and better. Hope I love the next two sitting on my TBR too!
Cover: Ohhhh, another gorgeous cover. This time I love the blue!
