Summary: Felicity is a total romantic. That's why she follows her heart—not the rules—in her job as a cupid. But when Felicity turns her matchmaking magic on her best friend, Andy, it's Andy who breaks their golden rule: friends always come first. Andy is so wrapped up in her new guy that she's ditching everyone else. How can Felicity stop her BFF from letting a BF come between them?
Meanwhile, Felicity decides to get over her crush on Derek by setting him up with someone else—but in her impulsive haste, she accidentally matches him with the whole school, and now everyone is in love with him. The entire student body is headed toward heartbreak, just weeks before prom. Does Felicity have what it takes to make everyone's heart happy...including her own?
My Thoughts: This series is made of awesomeness! Seriously, these are the cutest books ever! I read Flirting With Disaster a few weeks after Stupid Cupid and it had the same fun to it! We are reunited with Felicity, Andy, and Maya. And of course her crazy matchmaking job! This time the book focuses on her friend Andy. Felicity set her up with Tyler and things seem to be going smoothly except for one glitch. Andy is so in love with Tyler she starts to ditch Felicity and Maya. All she does is breathe, eat, and sleep Tyler. She has no time for anything else really. Felicity feels a little jealous and neglected but she figures she can't let it get to her. Easier said than done. Felicity also decides getting Derek to notice her is a lost cause so she decides to match him with someone.
She picks out the perfect girl than accidently CC's the whole school so now everybody is in love with Derek. Yes, even teachers and guys! Oh no! She tries not to freak out and figures that the spell will wear off in 2 weeks. In the meantime, Derek spends more time with her after bumping into her in the library. They even go out as a group together and decide to go to prom together.
The realization is that he might not even like her, but she's the only one who isn't falling at her knees for him and he might just feel bombarded so being around her might the less evil of the two.
Honestly, Flirting With Diaster was even more enjoyable than Stupid Cupid. Usually sophomore novels aren't as great at freshmen but this one had it all! I loved it! I didn't see the ending coming at all, and my mouth dropped open a little bit. Of course I had to laugh and smile about it. Irony, anyone?
Do you want to know what happens to Andy and Tyler, do they make it past the two week mark? What about Felicity, does Derek finally notice her or is he still stuck being blind to her love?
Overall: Loved It! I'll say it again, Stapleton is awesome and knows what us girls want in a novel!
Cover: These covers are so adorable! Each one figures the same girl and they are all so neat.
