Waiting On Wednesday (53)
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. WOW spotlights forthcoming titles that we absolutely can't wait to read.
The Lying Game by Sara Shepard
Summary: New York Times bestselling author Sara Shepard’s new series weaves a mystery of long-lost twins, mistaken identities, a duplicitous circle of friends, and cold-blooded murder. Combining juicy plot lines, to-die-for lifestyles, a tangled web of friendship and romance, magnetic characters, and sharp-witted narration from the afterlife, The Lying Game is an alluring cross between Pretty Little Liars and The Lovely Bones.
Foster kid Emma Paxton has only just discovered Sutton Mercer, the wealthy twin sister she never knew she had, when Sutton drops off the face of the earth, asking Emma to cover for her at home, school, and with her friends—just for a few days. At first Emma enjoys trying on her sister’s fabulous life: her fiercely loyal friends, her adoring boyfriend, her close-knit family. But as Emma is drawn deeper into Sutton’s world she finds the friends are not so fabulous, the boyfriend is not who she wants to be with, and the family is clinging to long-buried secrets and a veneer of functionality. And worst of all, Sutton may not be coming back. In fact, someone may have made sure she never could…and that someone knows Emma is not who she claims to be. Emma will need all her wits to survive The Lying Game.
My Thoughts: Yes, I'm a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars (awesome series) and the tv show, I'm team Fitz- have you noticed how hot he is? I mean, come on, the guy even has hot teeth! So, a new novel by Sara Shepard definitely has my vote and I'll be reading this one!

Bad Taste In Boys by Carrie Harris
Summary: Someone’s been a very bad zombie.
Super-smartie Kate Grable gets to play doctor, helping out her high school football team. Not only will the experience look good on her college apps, she gets to be thisclose to her quarterback crush, Aaron. Then something disturbing happens. Kate finds out that the coach has given the team steroids. Except . . . the vials she finds don’t exactly contain steroids. Whatever’s in them is turning hot gridiron hunks into mindless, flesh-eating . . . zombies.
Unless she finds an antidote, no one is safe. Not Aaron, not Kate’s brother, not her best friend . . . not even Kate . . .
It’s scary. It’s twisted. It’s sick. It’s high school.
My Thoughts: I am very very selective about books I read that have anything to do with zombies. I loved You Are So Undead To Me while I wasn't too fond of I Kissed A Zombie and Liked it. But this one sounds interesting so I will read it, plus thats a cover to die for, literally. LOL.

Excellent selection of books. I'm adding both to my tbr list immediately :)
They both sound so interesting but very different. I do love a good zombie story so Bad Taste in Boys is definitely for me. It also helps that the cover is so cool, love it!
Great picks! I'm really looking forward to reading The Lying Game because I loved PLL. Oh, and I'm Team Fitz as well- he's so cute. Also, Bad Taste In Boys looks like it's going to be epic. Can't wait!
Ooh I can't wait for The Lying Game either! I'm loving the show too and boy am I Team Fitz too! He's the best guy on the show ;) And I love love the cover for Bad Taste in Boys :D
Not too into Zombies myself but The Lying Game sound like a fun read.
I am definitely looking forward to these books! Love the covers!
I am waiting for Bad Taste in Boys, too. Unlike you, I am not so selective about zombie books, and I am willing to give each a shot. I didn't like I Kissed a Zombie and I Liked it, either!
