Freak Magnet By Andrew AuseonHi. I’m Andrew Auseon, and today I’m lucky enough to get a chance to introduce my new novel, Freak Magnet on Princess Bookie. Hooray for me! Hooray for you, too! Why hooray for you? Well, I happen to think Freak Magnet is a pretty interesting story. It’s about big hearts, broken hearts, and how sometimes the only way to find love is by entrusting your heart to a stranger.
Freak Magnet is about two teenagers, Charlie and Gloria, both of whom are struggling to overcome personal tragedy. They are not exactly opposites, but they are by no means alike. The only characteristic that they share is a longing for human contact, and the craving for a good cup of coffee. Over the course of summer vacation, a black-tie dinner, one short-lived job, arguments with friends and siblings, and one very special night on a rainy rooftop, Charlie and Gloria get to know each other, learning that first impressions aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
