Summary: Pete and Annabelle live for their summers together on Gingerbread Beach. They've always believed they were a perfect pair… until junior year, when Annabelle becomes obsessed with astrology. Now they can hardly stand each other. Pete thinks that Annabelle (a Leo) has become a total flake; Annabelle thinks Pete (a Scorpio) has become an uptight jerk.

When Annabelle dares Pete to open a summer business on the Boardwalk generating personalized horoscopes, their fast-paced, hilarious bickering soon rises to a fever pitch. The he-said/she-said advice of the Star Shack is wildly popular and seems able to fix any relationship problem… except their own.

But when one of Annabelle's star charts helps catch a thief, Pete might have to admit that the stars could really hold the key to the future…and to his own heart.

My Thoughts: Whoa. I love astrology so as soon as I read the description I knew I had to read this! We meet Annabelle and Pete who have had a thing since they were just kids and have came Gingerbread Beach every summer since. Annabelle has recently became really into astrology and Pete doesn't really believe in it. He believes more in everyday is a new day, etc. He starts to get fed up with Annabelle and she challenges him to open a summer business reading off people's astrology he can't deny it. You can see the chemistry between these two from the get go, and you just know they should be together. Many obstacles rise throughout the book keeping them from getting back together. This book was full of cute and fun! I loved all the astrology we saw throughout the book and the way they were together. We also get to watch other characters get together and fall in love. This book was a fun read.

Overall: I really liked this one. Its a cute book that makes you want to smile and go kick your shoes off at a beach, kind of impossible to do when its covered in snow outside but now I want to head on outside and wish there was sun outside
