In My Mailbox (30) 3/28/10
In My Mailbox is inspired by Kristi@The Story Siren
I got a few good ones this week!
Wayfarer by R.J. Anderson (ATWT Tours)
Summary: The faeries of the Oak are dying, and it’s up to a lone faery named Linden to find a way to restore their magic. Linden travels bravely into dangerous new territory, where she enlists the help of an unlikely friend—a human named Timothy. Soon they discover something much worse than the Oakenfolk’s loss of magic: a potent evil that threatens the fate of all faeries. In a fevered, desperate chase across the country, Timothy and Linden risk their lives to seek an ancient power before it’s too late to save everyone they love.
R. J. Anderson has artfully crafted a world of stunning magic, thrilling adventure, and delicate beauty, where a girl far from home must defeat the pervasive evil befalling her beloved faery realm.
The Vampire And The Virgin by Kerrelyn Sparks
Summary: FBI psychologist Olivia Sotiris is looking for a cool ocean breeze, sand between her toes, and a break from her crazy, and sometimes dangerous, life. But when she escapes to the Greek island of Patmos, all she gets is a meddling grandmother trying to marry her off. None of the men there interest her—except a mysterious Scotsman named Robby MacKay.
First Drop Of Crimson By Jeaniene Frost
Summary: The night is not safe for mortals. Denise MacGregor knows all too well what lurks in the shadows - her best friend is half-vampire Cat Crawfield - and she has already lost more than the average human could bear. But her family's dark past is wrapped in secrets and shrouded in darkness - and a demon shapeshifter has marked Denise as prey. Now her survival depends on an immortal who craves a taste of her.
He is Spade, a powerful, mysterious vampire who has walked the earth for centuries and is now duty-bound to protect this endangered, alluring human - even if it means destroying his own kind. Denise may arouse his deepest hungers, but Spade knows he must fight his urge to have her as they face the demon nightmare together...
Because once the first drop of crimson falls, they will both be lost.

I really liked First Drop of Crimson. I hope you do too. The one by Kerrilyn Sparks also sounds good. Happy reading!
Ooo I haven't heard of the last two, but I think I want to read them! Great week :)
Wayfarer is awesome :D
I love your cupcakes - they're really cute. Wayfarer is such a romantic title, it's a shame it doesn't seem to match the storyline though as there doesn't seem to be a boat in the novel. Hope you enjoy your books. x
Some fab sounding books!

All your books seem like good reads. I hope you enjoy all of them & I can't wait to read your review.
I don't know any of these books, it seems like you've moved away from YA straight into Adult Romance.
Holly, yea I read Young Adult books and paranormal/romances by favorite authors. but Wayfarer is considered YA.
The last two grab me....
My post isn't up yet. Later today.
Wayfarer sounds really good. Faery books are very popular right now.

Looks like you got a great stack of books there! I also received First Drop of Crimson, and I can't wait to read it. I probably won't end up reading it until after I get caught up on Frost's Night Huntress Series though.
Looking forward to your reviews :)
