My Thoughts: We are introduced to Holly who starts having a secret relationship with Paul but Paul already has a girlfriend named Saskia. We are also introduced to Holly's guy friend. Paul makes Holly feel good, wanted even. She cares about him and has real feelings for him but he is still with his girlfriend and doesn't want to hurt her by breaking up with her. More or less he wants both of them. She seems to have somewhat low self esteem and puts up with it for a while. She figures at least she can "kind of" have him this way. Honestly from the get go, I liked her guy friend and I wanted her to be with him. I wasn't really fond of Paul. He was a bad boy and I felt like Holly deserved better, someone who appreciated her. I could really feel like I was in Holly's shoes and I felt confused for her. I just wanted Holly to be happy. Does Holly end up with Paul? Does he dump his girlfriend? Does he keep pressuring her to be with him? What happens to her guy friend? What happens to Saskia?

Summary: “You think he’s yours but he’s not, I thought. You think he’s yours but really he’s mine.”
When Holly loses her virginity to Paul, a guy she barely knows, she assumes their encounter is a one-night stand. After all, Paul is too popular to even be speaking to Holly, and he happens to have a long-term girlfriend, Saskia. But ever since Holly’s mom died six months ago, Holly has been numb to the world, and she’s getting desperate to feel something, anything—so when Paul keeps pursuing her, Holly relents. Paul’s kisses are a welcome diversion, and it’s nice to feel like the kind of girl that a guy like Paul would choose.
But things aren’t so simple with Saskia around. Paul’s real girlfriend is willowy and perfect… and nothing like Holly. To make matters worse, she and Holly are becoming friends. Suddenly the consequences of Holly’s choices are all too real, and Holly stands to lose more than she ever realized she had.
Overall: I really enjoyed this one. When it was over, I wanted to keep reading! I could definitely feel for all the characters. I really enjoyed Holly and felt like I knew her and she was my friend. I wanted to sit with her and try to make her feel better.
Cover: The cover is pretty. I love the orange and the dress.
