The Seaside Letters by Denise Hunter
Summary: Sabrina Kincaid didn't intend to fall for Nantucket native Tucker McCabe, the man she serves coffee to every morning-the man tied deeply to Sabrina's most mortifying secret. Then Tucker decides to hire Sabrina to help locate his online friend Sweetpea-the mysterious woman he's falling in love with. It's a pickle: Sabrina is not inclined to help, but letting Tucker hire someone else could spell disaster. Because if someone else helped him-if someone else sifted through the letters and figured out the truth-then Tucker would discover that the person he's trying to find is . . . her.
My Thoughts: Whoa. I had seen this book on goodreads, one of my friends were reading it. So I knew I had to read it. I loved the description. We are introduced to Sabrina and we get to know her as a person, we find out why she is the way she is (scared of relationships) and why she keeps herself shut down from everyone. We than meet Tucker, who is in love with Sweetpea (aka Sabrina). The chemistry is there from the get go, even though she does not know he knows that he is talking to her (Sabrina). Sound confusing? It really isn't when you begin the story. It all comes together nicely. This story is beautiful and romantic. I really enjoyed both of them. Tucker than hires Sabrina to find Sweetpea. Makes it kind of hard right? And, than we begin to get to know the whole backstory of Sabrina, not only is she afraid of relationships but we know why she does not want to tell Tucker she is sweatpea. Mostly she is scared, but why you ask??? Will the two overcome their obstacles and get together? Or will they live the rest of their life wanting each other??? You must read the book to find out! Goodreads says it is classified as christian lit. Yes, there are a few references to God BUT for all of you who aren't religious, its still a good book anyway! It is a beautiful story. I really enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone!!! I love Tucker and Sabrina together.
Overall: A really nice love story! The sparks fly between Sabrina and Tucker, and I'm glad I was there to watch them! Great Story!
Cover: I love the cover. It fits the book perfectly! She has such a pretty dress on and the guy in the background, who I assume is Tucker is awesome. I think it is very mysterious and has a really good vibe about it.

Hold Still by Nina Lecour
Summary: dear caitlin, there are so many things that i want so badly to tell you but i just can’t.Devastating, hopeful, hopeless, playful . . . in words and illustrations, Ingrid left behind a painful farewell in her journal for Caitlin. Now Caitlin is left alone, by loss and by choice, struggling to find renewed hope in the wake of her best friend’s suicide. With the help of family and newfound friends, Caitlin will encounter first love, broaden her horizons, and start to realize that true friendship didn’t die with Ingrid. And the journal which once seemed only to chronicle Ingrid’s descent into depression, becomes the tool by which Caitlin once again reaches out to all those who loved Ingrid—and Caitlin herself.
My Thoughts: I didn't know what to expect as I started this book. Would it be too emotional, not emotional enough? I actually enjoyed it. We get to know Caitlin and her feelings. She goes very in depth on her feelings and thoughts and what she is doing. We learn all about Ingrid through Caitlin's reactions and her memories. Caitlin finds Ingrids journal underneath her bed and we start to read all about how Ingrid was feeling up to the suicide. We try to understand why she did what she did. Caitlin tries to understand and sometimes think if she would have have just seen it before it happened. We get to know all the side characters who were involved in Ingrid's life, like Jayson-the boy Ingrid was crazy about. We start to understand how she committed suicide and why she did it. We also get to watch as Caitlin starts to fall for Taylor. This book was very emotional and if you've ever had a friend commit suicide, you will understand all the emotions Caitlin is going through (I have had a friend commit suicide so I completely understand.)
Overall: Very emotional and gripping story about loss and choices. It was a good book that will make you shed a few tears! A must Read!
Cover: I like the way the girl is sitting. It does not have a whole lot of colors but still fits the book pretty good. Very emotional.
